I absolutely love this time of the year. Not just because you get presents but, because everything just looks so beautiful. Snow, holiday decorations, pine trees, garland, and lights strung up everywhere. Even the smell of the winter holiday excites most; all the pine and sweet smells. I would live at Santa’s North Pole if that actually existed!
This article isn’t just about my love for the winter holiday, but my love for holiday makeup! Another great reason why I wish it was this time of the year forever. It gives me an excuse to wear bold shiny makeup whenever! I will share with you some of my favorite looks for the holiday season crossdresser!
If you haven’t already, go stock up on reds, purples, dark and light brown lipsticks! These colors are very in during the winter season and can really bring out your makeup. I would recommend anything matte or something bright and super shiny, like a lacquer lip gloss (like the one to the right). Matte is a very big lipstick trend right now and in my opinion, I think it makes your lips transgender look a lot fuller. I have average sized lips and whenever I want a full lip look I go with a matte lipstick. Matte lipstick stays on for hours also; making it great for going out to holiday parties. Sometimes I don’t even take it with me out of the house because I know it is going to stay on for the couple of hours that I’m gone. A bold lacquer lip gloss with a lot of color in it will look super sexy on anyone. It gives your lips an extra pop and makes them look nice and juicy for date night or parties. Definitely an attention grabber.
The holiday eye makeup trend is fairly simple. Keep it shiny, smokey and metallic. Metallic colors like gold, black, and silver really create a perfect Christmas feel. Brushing some black or any other darker shade on the creases of your eyelids will perfectly outline your eyes; giving your eyes a big beautiful shape. Lastly, putting a little lighter colored eye shadow at the tips of your eyes will really help your colors flow nicely together. Apply some top eyeliner to finish off the look.
Another thing to make your eyes pop would be to add some white eyeliner to your bottom inner eyelid (like the woman in the top photo). The great part about wearing gold, black, and silver is that any lip color matches (purple, red, berry, or brown). Just keep it dark.You always want to keep bold black lashes and a full brow this holiday season or anytime! Long lashes look so beautiful to me. I try and make mine as long as possible whenever applying my mascara. Buying a mascara that has hard plastic bristle spikes will really go a long way if you are trying to extend your lashes. Try and stay away from mascara that has long soft-like bristles that fan out. These aren’t as effective in extending your lashes. There are some great styles you can try. A nice cat eye always looks great no matter what holiday. Match a cat eye with some neutral colored eye shadow just at the creases of your eyelids (like the picture to the left) for a look that will be great on anyone. Pair it with your favorite dark lipstick, put on some mascara, fill your eyebrows sissy, put on some blush, and you’re done. This is a great simple look that will make anyone look absolutely beautiful.
